3/7: Extra credit during Spring Break! Don't tell!!

I hope you are enjoying spring break.
On the 3.48% chance any students check this blog during break, here's a surprise extra credit.

You have noticed that sometimes when Jesus heals someone, he (strangely) tells them NOT to tell anyone.

What might be some reasons for this?

Doesn't Jesus want people to know???

Anyone who posts their thoughts on this  topic  before next Monday's class gets some extra credit:  (Post in the comments section below. Remember, if you don't have one of the accounts listed, select "post as anonymous," but then be sure to add your name to the actual post to get credit!)

Starters below.

1. Maybe it's because he knows human nature: If you tell someone a secret and not to tell, isn't there a good chance they'll tell.  Is it veiled way of saying, "DO tell!"?

2.)Pay attention to the timing and places he is in when he makes these statements.  Could it be that people told in the wrong (politically charged) places or at the wrong time, he might be arrested and killed before his appointed time?

3) How about this?
4)Or this?
5)Other options?
6)What do your textbooks say?

BTW, this topic would be excellent for your "Adventure" project..
Note: What do all the accounts have in common? How do they differ? Does he do this in all four gospels?  Does it have anything to with his shift to left-handed power?
